This is a service we're especially well-equipped to handle, and it's where Reid's background really matters: as a Licensed REALTOR® with 15+ years of transaction experience, she is fluent in deeds, mortgages, settlement statements, FIRPTA, affidavits of title and full lender packages. Straight answers.
Do you offer same-day mobile notary service?
Yes. Same-day appointments are available throughout Belmont, Lexington, Lincoln, Weston, Watertown, Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, and Greater Boston. As a fully mobile service operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, A2Z Notary Group is built for exactly these situations. Whether you need a will notarized this afternoon or a power of attorney signed tonight, call or text (781) 738-2980 and we'll confirm availability immediately.
Can you come to a senior living facility or hospital?
Absolutely. This is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do. We regularly visit Brookhaven at Lexington, The Commons in Lincoln, Birches Assisted Living in Lincoln, Youville Place in Lexington, Lasell Village in Newton, NewBridge on the Charles in Dedham, McLean Hospital in Belmont, and other senior communities throughout Middlesex and Norfolk counties. When a parent or loved one needs to sign a will, healthcare proxy, durable power of attorney, or trust document but cannot easily travel, we come directly to their room or residence. Evening and weekend visits are available, and we can coordinate a credible witness to accompany us when required.
Can you notarize a will or trust at my home?
Yes. Wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and self-proving affidavits are among the most common documents we notarize, and the kitchen table or living room is one of our most frequent workspaces. Massachusetts requires that wills be signed in the presence of two witnesses in addition to the notary. We can coordinate witnesses for you so the entire execution happens in a single visit. If your attorney has already prepared the documents and simply needs them properly executed, we work seamlessly within that process.
Do you provide witnesses?
Yes. Witness coordination is part of our service. Estate planning documents including wills, certain trusts, and durable powers of attorney typically require one or two credible witnesses in Massachusetts. Rather than requiring you to find your own witnesses, we can bring a qualified witness to the appointment. The flat fee for a provided witness ranges from $35 to $50 depending on how many signatures are required, and that fee is paid directly to the witness. Just let us know when you book so we can plan accordingly.
What areas do you serve?
A2Z Notary Group is based in Belmont, MA and serves a broad corridor of Greater Boston communities including Lexington, Lincoln, Weston, Concord, Watertown, Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, Arlington, Winchester, Wellesley, Needham, Dedham, Bedford, Carlisle, and Boston proper. We travel throughout Middlesex and Norfolk counties.
Are you available evenings and weekends?
Yes, completely. A2Z Notary Group operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Most of our clients contact us outside of traditional business hours because that is when life actually happens after work, on a Saturday morning before a family meeting, or on a Sunday evening when documents need to be ready for Monday. Text or call (781) 738-2980 any time and we will respond promptly.
What does a mobile notary cost in Massachusetts?
A2Z Notary Group has a flat fee of $125. Each stamp is $30. Witness signatures are $10 each. If you need us to bring a witness, the flat fee ranges from $35 to $50, paid directly to each witness, depending on how many signatures are required. For out-of-state real estate closing packages, flat-rate pricing starts at $295. There are no hidden fees. We primarily serve Belmont, Lexington, Lincoln, Weston, Watertown, Cambridge, Newton, and Greater Boston, with mobile appointments throughout Middlesex and Norfolk counties.
Can you notarize out-of-state real estate closing documents?
Yes, and this is a specialty that sets us apart. If you are selling or buying property in Florida, Washington D.C., Virginia, Texas, California, or any other non-attorney closing state while living in Massachusetts, your title company can email the closing package directly to you and we will meet you anywhere in Greater Boston to notarize every required page. As a Licensed REALTOR® with over 15 years of transaction experience, Reid reads deeds, mortgages, closing disclosures, FIRPTA affidavits, and settlement statements every week. You are not handing your closing package to a generalist. You are working with someone who understands exactly what they are notarizing.
I have a Florida closing being sent to me in Boston, can you help?
Yes. Out-of-state sellers and buyers in Massachusetts often receive a printed or emailed closing package from a Florida title company. We meet you at your home, office or senior-living community, walk through the signatures, notarize every required page and return the originals ready for overnight delivery.
Are your services LGBTQ+ friendly?
Yes. A2Z Notary Group proudly serves clients of every background, including the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you're notarizing a healthcare proxy, second-parent adoption paperwork, a domestic partnership agreement or estate documents protecting your spouse, you will be treated with respect, professionalism and complete discretion.
What types of documents can you notarize?
Any document that requires a Massachusetts notary, including: self-proving affidavits for wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, healthcare proxies, HIPAA authorizations, living wills, deeds, out-of-state closing packages, loan and refinance documents, affidavits and permission-to-travel forms.
Does Massachusetts require a Healthcare Proxy or MOLST form to be notarized?
No. A Massachusetts Healthcare Proxy is legally valid with two adult witnesses, a notary is not required. A MOLST (Medical Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) form is a clinical order signed by the patient and clinician and also does not require a notary. We can still notarize Healthcare Proxies on request when an out-of-state institution asks for it.
Can you notarize individual real estate documents for Massachusetts transactions?
Yes. While Massachusetts requires a licensed attorney to conduct a full real estate closing, individual real estate documents, including deeds, powers of attorney (POA), affidavits of title and homestead declarations can be notarized independently. As a Licensed REALTOR® with 15+ years of experience, Reid understands these documents and notarizes them at your home, office or your attorney's location throughout Belmont and Greater Boston.
Do I need to provide identification?
Yes, a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID) is required for every signer.
Are your services confidential?
Always. Discretion and confidentiality are the foundation of our practice, especially for estate, healthcare and real estate documents.
Do I need to sign the documents before the notary arrives?
No. Please wait to sign until the notary is present and can directly witness your signature. We will guide you through each document, signature, and initial at the appointment, so nothing is missed or invalid.
